Turkey-Qatar Combined Exercise has been completed between Turkey and Qatar Armed Forces in order to increase friendship, cooperation, coordination and interoperability. The land phase of the exercise was held in Qatar on 05-06 August 2017, in the form of command and execution of the subsidiary of the Land Force Command.

At the maritime stage of the exercise, the Center for Multi-National Maritime Security Excellence gave training on fire safety and wound defense in TCG GÖKOVA with training on maritime safety. During the actual maritime phase performed between August 6-7, 2017; Maneuvering trainings, search and rescue trainings, training of air defense with the attendance of QATAR aircraft belonging to Qatar Air Forces as well as security trainings of affiliated and SAT (Su Altı Taarruz- Underwater Attack) teams.
