The US Department of Defence (DoD) issued a Request for Information (RFI) for an additional 114 Sikorsky Black Hawk helicopters in utility and medical evacuation configurations. 

The new helicopters, required to be delivered over a three-year period beginning from fiscal year 2019, will be supplied to the US Army, as well as to other DoD and US government agencies, and potential foreign customers. The companies to submit offers will have to partner with the original equipment manufacturer as the government does not own the proprietary information related to the Black Hawk, according to the RFI.
