The Depths of Mars Put Under The Scope

The American National Aeronautics and Space Administration's (NASA's) new spacecraft InSight, which will be sent to Mars, has been launched from a base in California.

NASA will go down to the depths of Mars and investigate the geological history of the Red Planet. The vehicle will place seismometers on the surface of Mars with the help of robot arms. NASA will try to get information on how the planet is formed with the seismic data from Mars. Through the earthquake information, NASA will try to understand how the underground rock layers are located. The InSight spacecraft is expected to go down to depths of 5 meters, as never before, to measure the temperature of the planet.

InSight, which will investigate the formation of the planet, is scheduled to land on Mars after six months and begin geological excavation.
