Boeing is to equip its AV-8B Harrier attack aircraft with KOR-24A Small Tactical Terminals (STT). The manufacturer of the SST, broadband services and technology company ViaSat, has been awarded a contract worth $20 million including exercisable options. 

KOR-24A SST enables helicopters, ground vehicles, and other platforms to switch waveforms and network connections on the fly, merging disparate networks and delivering situational awareness to edge operators as the mission unfolds. The two-channel radio provides the information available on Link 16 networks and tactical VHF/UHF which numerous tactical platforms have a simultaneous access to.
