STM sent The Through The Wall Radar (DAR) solution and its team to the disaster area to be used by the Gendarmerie in search and rescue operations in the disaster area under the coordination of the Defense Industry Presidency and AFAD. In addition, Tactical Mini UAV systems with thermal cameras took their place in the disaster area with flight engineers and technicians.

Sending search and rescue personnel, consisting of three teams, to the earthquake area, STM also donated 100 7KwA generators, 43,200 canned food, 3,600 blankets, 700 powerbanks, 5,500 winter clothes and 4,800 diapers.

DAR enables it to be used to obtain two-dimensional location information of fixed and moving target elements in closed spaces, where there is no visual access, via Ultra-Wide Band (UGB) signals. In addition to military scenarios such as hostage rescue, counterterrorism and internal security operations, DAR can also be used for civilian purposes such as fire and rescue operations after various disasters.
