Russia has started to work for Soyuz-5 rocket. In a news released in the Russian press, Roscosmos began the work for the medium class launch vehicle Soyuz-5 is announced. The system was mentioned as a project to re-activate and upgrade the entire missile industry.
The project, which was planned as the first launch of the year 2022, will hold 61 billion Rubles. Soyuz-5 has been developed in a structure suitable for manned launch and has been developed for the international launch-service market. Another information given about the missile is that the system will has a deeply modernized version of the RD-171 engine.
