March 10, 2021Second Maritime Patrol Aircraft with Domestic Equipment to Turkey
The second P-72 Maritime Patrol Aircraft was delivered in Turkey as part of the MELTEM III (ATR-72) Project.
With the completion of deliveries within the scope of the MELTEM Project, the number of maritime patrol aircraft in inventory will increase to 12.
Turkish Aerospace, provided the support for detail part production, aircraft modification, material supply, ground and flight tests of P-72s. Link 11 and Link 16 systems developed by MİlSOFT were also used for the aircraft, which Aselsan made equipment deliveries.
