Russian Navy's Udaloy I class underwater warfare destroyer Admiral Tributs and fuel tanker Boris Butomato have left for Phillipines for a joint military exercise. Both vessels dropped anchor in Manila. Rear Admiral of the Russian Navy Eduard Mikhailov said that the drill aims to address piracy issues in the South China Sea and counter-terrorism operations. Mikhailov added that Russia and Phillipines will surely continue joint exercises in the future.
