ASPILSAN has established a Research and Development (R&D) centre in Kayseri last month, to develop innovative solutions and advanced designs in energy generation and storage areas. Various studies will be conducted in order to obtain new patents by carrying out scientific and production oriented researches in the center's laboratories and workshops. These include new generation nickel cadmium batteries, lithium-based battery production, fuel cell systems, thermal batteries, original battery management systems and small, medium and large-scale energy storage systems.
