Russia is planning to sell non-lethal weapons to the United States. Sergei Rusakov, General Manager of Machine Engineering Technologies Holding (Tecmash), said at the IDEX 2017 trade show that the polis departments of the United States expressed interest in the multifunctional, non-lethal weapon “Osa”. The news reports that the Arizona Police Department is pre-ordering 60 weapons and 10 thousand cartridges. The Osa weapon system has an aluminum body with 4 or 2 shells. Thanks to its special cartridges, it offers many non-lethal options including electric shock.
