The Korean Workers' Party's 75-year rule in North Korea was celebrated with a military parade on October 10th.

North Korea, which has paraded a range of new weapons systems, from intercontinental ballistic missiles to mobile radar systems designed for air defence, has also introduced its main battle tank with new turrets and active protection systems.

The new modification of the main battle tanks, developed with local resources shown to the public for the first time, was visually noted for its resemblance to Russia's T-14 Armata main battle tank.

The modernized North Korean tank is equipped with a new reactive armour system and anti-tank missile system, it said.
