The Royal Thai Air Force (RTAF) received one Airbus A320-214 CJ transport aircraft and eight Diamond DA40NG training aircraft yesterday.
RTAF said the A320-214 CJ will be used for non-combat, military operations.
DA40NG training aircraft will be used for single-engine flight training. The platforms produced by Diamond Aircraft, based in Austria, had passed factory acceptance tests between 11-14 August 2020. The RTAF inventory also features Diamond company production, as well as a DA42MPP Guardian reconnaissance aircraft and a DA42 Twin Star aircraft.
