Rolls-Royce has announced that Tufan Erginbilgic has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer, replacing Warren East who announced his intention to step down at the end of 2022.

It is announced that Tufan Erginbilgic will step up as the Chief Executive Officer on 1 January 2023.

Chair Designate of Rolls-Royce Anita Frew said, “I am delighted to announce the appointment of Tufan Erginbilgic as chief executive. He is a proven leader of winning teams within complex multinational organizations, with an ability to drive a high-performance culture and deliver results for investors.”.

Tufan Erginbilgic stated that he was determined to deliver the full potential of the market positions and that he is looking forward to working with customers, partners, and the Rolls-Royce team across the world.

Tufan Erginbilgic has an engineering background with over 20 years of an international business career.  He was leading BP’s downstream business which included Refining, Petrochemicals, Service Station Network, Lubricants, Midstream operations, and Air BP jet fuel operations.
