Kongsberg signed a $17,3 million contract with Australia to integrate new capability for the Joint Strike Missile. the 5th generation long-range precision strike missile, developed for internal carriage on the F-35 JSF, will be added state-of-the-art radio frequency (RF)-seeker sensor, developed by BAE Systems Australia, to enable JSM to locate targets on the basis of their electronic signature.
