The Pentagon announced yesterday that it has been signed with Northrop Grumman a Missile Defense Agency (MDA) contract to conduct maintenance and repairs in orbit for the US Space Tracking and Surveillance System (STSS). The STSS system is being used by satellites for the detection and monitoring of ballistic missiles.
