The Norwegian Army will be equipped with a new airborne defence system. The Norwegian Defence Ministry announced on 6 February that it will order the new version of the NASAMS air defence system, which has been in inventory since 2000. Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace (KDA), the manufacturer of the NAMAS system, has announced that the existing mobile devices, fire-control, communication networks, armor modernization will be made within the new system, and offered to the service of the army It is planned that the total budget of the project will be $ 115 million and the delivery will take place between 2018 and 2021.
