BMC exhibits 12 vehicles with two new configurations in the Efes 2018 military exercise, one of the most comprehensive activities of the Turkish Armed Forces.
One of the most remarkable vehicles was the unmanned remote-controlled multi-purpose armored vehicle 'Amazon'. AMAZON 4×4 can be remote-controlled from five kilometres within sight and one kilometres out of sight. The vehicle cannot be intervened even if third persons are rushed into the vehicle as the controls inside are disabled when it is controlled remotely. The control console can be placed on fixed points or on moving vehicles. Controlled by 256 bit scrambled telemetry, AMAZON has a 360-degree field of view with eight cameras on it. The laser range finder on the turret is capable of automatic ballistic correction enabling automatic target tracking. The vehicle is equipped with a 30x optical zoom full HD day camera and a 4x digital zoom thermal camera. Standard features of the vehicle include automatic fire extinguishing system, central tire inflation, outbreak tire, environmental sight camera, dimming and camouflage light.
