Turkey's Deputy Undersecretary for Defence Industries Prof.Dr. Dr. Faruk Yigit became the chairman of a ROKETSAN's Board of Directors with the decision taken at the Ordinary General Assembly meeting held on 7 May. 

Professor Dr. Faruk Yiğit graduated from Istanbul Technical University, Department of Mechanical Engineering in 1984. Yiğit graduated from Yildiz Technical University in 1987 with a master's degree in Mechanical Engineering. In 1988, he completed his doctoral studies at the University of Michigan, USA. Yigit worked at King Suud University in Suudi Arabia between 1995 and 2009. Professor was then appointed to the Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in 2013, and in 2014 he was appointed as Vice Rector in charge of management.
