As required by the law, the Undersecretariat for Defence Industries has been publishing its strategic objectives for four-year periods since 2006. More in-depth preparations are necessary for such publications in order to provide more quality service to the sector.  

In March, the Undersecretariat for Defence Industries released a 140-page study for the 2017-2021 Strategic Plan. Accordingly, the Underseretariat specifies four strategic themes: “Speed, Quality and Cost-Effectiveness in Modernisation Projects”, “Efficiency Management for Capability Acquisition”, “Combining Technological Innovations with Scientific Accumulation and Experience”, and “Strategic Human Resources and Strong Corporate Management.” 
As maintained by the Undersecretary Prof. Dr. İsmail Demir in his speech, the latest Strategic Plan was re-designed on the basis of “Strategic Management and Planning” with a “Focus on Success.”
