This Privacy Notice has been prepared by C4Defence, in its capacity as the data controller, pursuant to Article 10 of the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK) and the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles to be Followed in Fulfilling the Obligation to Inform.
The purpose of this Privacy Notice is to determine the terms and conditions regarding the use of personal data that are shared with our institution by the platform members/visitors/users or that are processed by our institution during the use of the www.c4defence.com.tr / www.c4defence.com websites and mobile application platforms.
Personal Data to Be Processed
The following personal data belonging to platform users (data subjects) may be collected, processed, and transferred verbally, in writing, or electronically, directly from the data subjects themselves, or indirectly from all official institutions of the Republic of Turkey, or from all national and international institutions and organizations cooperating with C4Defence.
The collection, processing, and transfer may be carried out automatically or non-automatically, and through similar means:
- Visitor’s IP Address
- Browser Information
- City / Location Information
- Information on Visited Pages
Legal Grounds for Processing Personal Data
The personal data you share within the scope of C4Defence services are processed in accordance with Article 5(2) of the KVKK, under the following legal grounds:
- It is expressly provided for by laws.
- It is necessary for the protection of the life or physical integrity of a person who is unable to express consent due to actual impossibility or whose consent is not deemed legally valid.
- It is necessary for the processing of personal data belonging to the parties of a contract, provided that it is directly related to the establishment or performance of such contract.
- It is necessary for the data controller to fulfill its legal obligations.
- The personal data have been made public by the data subject.
- It is necessary for the establishment, exercise, or protection of a right.
- It is necessary for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that it does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject.
In accordance with the above-mentioned legal grounds and Article 6 of the KVKK, your personal data may be recorded, stored, preserved, classified, updated, and processed by our institution as the Data Controller, in any language, within our systems.
Such data may be disclosed, classified, reported, shared, or transferred to real or legal persons within Turkey when required by law or legitimate necessity, and within the legal limits.
Your personal data will be stored for the period required by law, or if no such period is specified, for as long as necessary for the purpose of processing.
Once this period expires, your personal data will be deleted, destroyed, or anonymized (i.e., rendered impossible to associate with an identified or identifiable natural person, even by matching with other data).
Use of Contact Information
Institutional notifications, announcements, alerts, information requests, and promotional communications regarding C4Defence and its corporate processes may be sent to you via e-mail or phone, provided that you have given your explicit consent.
Rights of the Data Subject (Under Article 11 of the KVKK)
Pursuant to Article 11 of the KVKK, you may apply to our institution to exercise the following rights regarding your personal data:
- To learn whether your personal data are being processed,
- To request information if they have been processed,
- To learn the purpose of processing and whether they are used in accordance with that purpose,
- To know the third parties to whom personal data are transferred domestically or abroad,
- To request correction if the data are incomplete or incorrect,
- To request deletion or destruction of the data within the framework of Article 7 of the KVKK,
- To request notification of the above-mentioned correction or deletion to third parties to whom data have been transferred,
- To object to the occurrence of a result against you through the exclusive analysis of the data by automated systems,
- To request compensation if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing of your personal data.
We would like to inform you that these rights will take effect as of the date on which you read and approve this consent form.
