One of the major defence and aerospace companies has selected Quantum3D, a leading developer and manufacturer of real-time visual simulation systems based in California and Orlando Florida, to purchase the 3D Facets model library.

Quantum3D has provided several 3D models for free for evaluation and testing. After a successful test and evaluation process, the company decided to purchase the Quantum3D library and started using these 3D models to design, develop and manufacture the next generation of advanced defense and space products.

Quantum3D continues to serve with real-time 3D models and the level of reality it offers.

The 3D Facets model library contains many digital models commonly used for creating virtual worlds for aircraft, ground vehicles, ships, buildings, and simulation-based training and other applications. These models are available in both a binary format optimized for use with Quantum3D’s MANTIS Rendering Software, and an OpenFlight source format.
