NATO Defence Ministers Meeting started at 14 February. Speaking at the start of the two-day meeting, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg called for more support to Ukraine.

Speaking at the start of the NATO Defence Ministers meeting, Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said that there are no signs that Russian President Vladimir Putin is preparing for peace and stressed the urgency of the rapid delivery of military capabilities so that Ukraine can continue to defend itself.

Stoltenberg also added that the Allies will take steps to replenish their ammunition stockpiles and consider ways to better protect critical submarine infrastructure. “Allies will also begin to discuss new defence investment commitment to enable us to continue to invest more in defence,” said the NATO Secretary General.
