Morocco has initially ordered 29 F100-PW-229 engines from Raytheon Technologies for the 25 F-16 C/D Block 72 aircraft purchased from the United States.
The company is expected to complete production and delivery of the F100-PW-229 engines by 2025.
The company will complete production at its factory in East Hartford, Connecticut.
United Technologies, the parent company of Pratt & Whitney, which develops the power group of the F-16 Block 72 multi-role combat aircraft, merged with another defense industry giant, Raytheon, last year.
The new company was renamed Raytheon Technologies.
