MBDA Deutschland proceeds ahead of schedule regarding the development of its KFK (Kleinflugkörper – small missile) Enforcer high precision weapon system. The company will carry out moving target and air-burst engagement trials with Enforcer within this year.

The 'fire and forget' missile system is an 89mm calibre day/night, lightweight, disposable shoulder-launched weapon system, initially developed to address German Army Special Forces light precision weapon requirement. The system has a range between 50 to 2 thousand meters and is effective against lightly armoured static and moving targets (moving at speeds of up to 50 km/h), simple infrastructure and targets behind cover.
