The Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC) announced today that AG600 is scheduled to make its first flight in late May. This is two years after the originally-planned 2015.
The 37-metre-long plane with a wingspan of 38,8 metres, AG600 is the largest amphibious aircraft in the world and designed for marine rescues and battle forest fires.
