US signed a new development agreement with Lockheed Martin. Under the agreement, which has a total cost of US $ 28.5 million, company will conduct development and technology demonstration work on hypersonic booster technology.
It is planned to evaluate the hypersonic booster technology for intermediate-range systems. If the design is found to be successful, the company will carry out fabrication and validation tests.
