The US Raytheon company has developed a laser weapon to be used on the country's AH-64 Apache attack helicopters. Developed for the US Land Forces and Special Forces Command, the system has been tested at White Sands Missile Range. During the test, a land vehicle was shot by laser. Critical information such as target's range, armor level and post-test state were not disclosed.
