XIV International specialized exhibition “Arms and Security – 2017”, being held in Kyiv-Ukraine between 10-13 October, opened doors to visitors today. Among Turkish companies exhibiting are ROKETSAN, ASELSAN, Ares Shipyard, BMC and C2Tech.

The fair has importance for Turkey in regards to the cooperation opportunities with Ukrainian companies. Undersecretary for Turkish Undersecreretiat for Defence Industries, Prof.Dr. Ismail Demir visited Turkish companies' booths and obtained information on which products were to be exhibited and on cooperation plans with Ukrainian firms. Demir has also held a meeting with Ukrainian Secretary of the National Security Council Alexander Turchinov and discussed collaboration in defence industry.

Deputy Undersecretary for Turkish Undersecreretiat for Defence Industries Köksal Liman, ROKETSAN Chairman M.Emin Alpman, ASELSAN General Manager Faik Eken, Ares Shipyard Chairman Kerim Kalafatoğlu, Repkon Chairman Azer Aran and TEI CEO Faruk Aksit are among the visitors of the exhibition. Officials from STM and HAVELSAN are also present as visitors.
