Turkish defence company Katmerciler brings its armored ambulance for the first time to IDEF'17 International Defense Fair to be held in Istanbul between 9-12 May 2017, along with its 4×4 tactical wheeled armored vehicles.

The 4×4 armored ambulance was designed and fitted on the Ford F550 vehicle chassis for first aid operations and patient transport for high-risk areas. The large internal volume allows the personnel to operate on the patient in the standing position. The vehicle has a carrying capacity of 8 people, including 5 patients, 2 health personnel and the driver. 300 hp, 4×4 armored ambulances are suitable for even challenging routes and climatic conditions, ensuring full safety of the driver, health personnel and patients. The vehicle can be configured to suit different ballistics levels.

Among the other products Katmerciler will exhibit are a highly mine-protected combat vehicle HIZIR, a personnel transport vehicle KHAN and an armored 4×4 vehicle NEFER.
