May 18, 2017Ka-62 Will Undergo Full-scale Flight Tests
The Ka-62 advanced multirole helicopter, being developed by the Kamov design bureau, will commence full-scale flight testing this year following its first hovering test in 2016, announced by Russia’s Industry and Trade Ministry on Tuesday.Â
Based on Ka-60, the helicopter has been developed to perform a wide range of operations such as transportation and rescue. The helicopter can carry up to 15 people or 2.5 tonnes of cargo.
