Polish Deputy Defence Minister Bartosz Kownacki announced that the country received its first batch of AGM-158A Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missiles (JASSMs) which were ordered in December 2014. Under a $250 million contract covers 40 AGM-158As and modernization work on Polish Air Force's F-16C/D Block 52+ fighter aircraft from the M4.3 standard to the M6.5 standard. All the JASSMs are expected to be delivered within 2017.
