Japan launched a new satellite yesterday. The launch was made at the Tanegashima Space Center stationed in the Kagoshima area. The H-IIA carrier rocket was used for launching to the orbit to satellite, under the responsibility of the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency. The satellite which was launched on the day North Korea's leader Kim Jong-un and US President Trump's meeting would be used in the process of taking photos of North Korea's military installations and the regions affected by natural disasters.
Japan has four radar satellites in the orbit. These satellites are tasked with collecting radio waves from the ground. In addition to these satellites, there are two optical satellites.
