India Test-fired Agni II

The nuclear-capable Agni-II was test launched on February 20 as part of India's annual training exercise. 

The Agni-II ballistic missile was launched from the Integrated Test Range (ITR) on Abdul Kalam Island off Odisha coast. The Agni-II is a two-stage solid-fueled missile equipped with advanced high accuracy navigation system. Having an approximate range of 2,000-3,000 kilometres, the missile is capable of carrying a 1,000-kilogram nuclear warhead.
