Kuwait has decided to upgrade the capabilities of the F/A-18 C/D aircraft in its inventory. With this decision, the defence capabilities of the planes will be increased. Activities to be carried out under the program will take place in 2021. Under the program, Kuwait, which signed an agreement with Raytheon for US $ 32 million to procure CD-108B / ALE-50 (V) countermeasure system. Kuwait will procure 38 units. Systems will have an Integrated Multi-Platform Launch Controller (IMPLC). However, systems control, distribution, surprise and countermeasure systems will also be integrated into IMPLC.
