Australia has received the first one from 12 ordered EA-18G Growler electronic attack aircraft. Australian Defence Minister Marise Payne announced that the first EA-18G Growler plane was delivered to the Royal Australian Air Force today. Thus, Australia became the second country after the US with the EA-18G Growler electronic attack aircraft. The remaining 11 planes are scheduled to be delivered until the first half of 2017. Growler has the ability to disrupt military electronic systems, such as radars, to increase situational awareness.
