The Rockwell Collins' avionics systems will be used on P-3 Orion aerial surveillance aircraft in the Greek Navy. Lockheed Martin, which has undertaken the modernization of P-3 aircraft, will integrate Rockwell Collins' Flight2 integrated avionics system onto the plane. Greek aircraft will use fully digital multifunction flight display systems. Integrated communication systems on board and identification friend or foe (IFF) Mode 5 will be found. The system is currently being used on 15 Greek C-130 transport aircraft. P-3 aircraft are especially used in submarine hunting.
