Germany has decided to increase its order for the multi-role war ship Mehrzweckkampfschiff 180 (MKS 180). The first supplying plan was about to build four ship and then decide to build two more gship by 2030. In October 2016, the German Defense Ministry announced that it was postponing the supplying plan for to ensure high quality standards. In the process, it was decided to revise the contract in such a way as to cover the construction of six ships. The final agreement is expected to be signed by the end of 2017. German Naval Yards Kiel Shipyard and BAE Systems partnership, ThyssenKrupp Marine Systems and Lurssen shipyard partnership, Damen and The Blohm + Voss shipyards partnerships, consisted this three partnerships will compete against the issue.
