Electronic Display for C-130Ts

The US Navy (USN) announced on 30 May that it has completed Lockheed Martin C-130T Hercules transport aircraft upgrade work. The upgrade includes Electronic Propeller Control System and Engine Instrument Display System (EPCS/EIDS) installations, replacing mechanical system components. Under the upgrade, 43 analogue cockpit gauges were replaced with two flat panel displays. According to the Navy's statement, all of its 20 C-130Ts as well as US Marine Corps' 16 KC-130Ts have undergone this EPCS/EIDS upgrade.
