The Defence Industry Executive Committee (SSİK) meeting, which started at 14.00 yesterday under the chairmanship of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, ended. Many issues were discussed at the meeting, where developments in the defence industry were discussed.

In the written statement made after the meeting, it was stated that, “At the meeting held at the Presidential Complex, issues related to adding new ones to our domestic and national systems used by our TAF and security units were discussed, and decisions were taken regarding 25 different projects.”

In the meeting, decisions were taken regarding the mass production of the Siper, Hisar and Sungur systems, as well as the mass production of Atmaca, TRLG-230, Karaok, Gökdoğan and Bozdoğan missiles, the Akya torpedo and various platforms. In addition, 6-7-8, which will be built within the scope of Turkey’s national warship MİLGEM. The supply of ships was also decided at the meeting.

Bayraktar KIZILELMA, signed by Baykar, which made its first flight in the past few days, was among the agenda items at the meeting held today.

In the statement made after the meeting: “The latest situation in KIZILELMA, our unmanned jet fighter aircraft, which successfully performed its first test flight by staying in the air for 5 hours, was evaluated, and new capabilities for our UAVs were discussed. Various projects have been decided on, such as adding new ones to the modernizations of our F-16s, new electronic warfare and radar systems, various air, land and naval platforms, communication and information systems, equipment and equipment, simulation, logistics and cyber security.
