According to ASELSAN's 2017 annual report, there are significant developments within the scope of the Guidance Kit Projects Laser Guidance Kit (LGK) development and mass production work. According to the report, ground tests and captive transport tests under the certification activities for the LGK-84, which will be integrated to the MK-84 general purpose bombs used by the Turkish Air Force Command, have been completed and now the test-firings has begun. The report continues, “The serial production of the Precision Guidance Kits (HGK-2) fitted to the MK-84 general purpose bombs continues and deliveries are made to the Air Force Command. The Laser Seeker Head (LAB) development work, which will provide the ammunition with higher accuracy and the ability to be used against moving targets, has been completed and the targets have been successfully neutralized during the test-firings. HGK-2 LAB mass production activities are continuing “.
