U.S.-based aircraft manufacturer Cessna Aircraft Company has begun delivery of two Cessna 208B Cargomaster aircraft purchased by Pakistan.
While the two planes resumed their flights to Pakistan via the United States; platforms were viewed at Lavacolla Airport in Spain for a technical break. The planes, painted in Pakistani Armed Forces colours with the numbers N707EX and N708EX, are expected to receive serial numbers 707 and 708.
Pakistan will operationally use Cessna 208B EX aircraft in its Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Fleet.
After the operationality of the aircraft, which were designed as Cessna 208 Caravan and have a structure suitable for load handling tasks, it was noticed that its internal width could be expanded. For this purpose, a large tank was added to the lower body of the platform, designing the new variance of the aircraft, the Cessna 208B Cargomaster.
