It was claimed that the Cai Hong-4 (CH-4) UAVs, which were stated to be purchased by Pakistan from China, were delivered to Pakistan. “Ch-4s ordered by the Armed Forces finally reached Pakistan last week and are currently being moved to an air base in Khanewal,” the Pakistan Defence site said.

In eastern Pakistan, it is thought it will deploy drones to the border between India and Kashmir and Ladakh. As tensions between China and India escalated, the sides began to increase the number of drones stationed in the region.

The CH-4, developed by China based on the MQ-9 Reaper platform, is equipped with domestically produced avionics. The platform, estimated to have about 40 hours of air time, can carry 345 kilograms of ammunition.

In October 2020, China also announced its decision to supply Pakistan with 50 Wing Loong II armed drones.
