Indian Navy (IN) successfully test-fired a BrahMos Land-Attack Supersonic Cruise Missile from Talwar-class guided missile frigate INS Teg on 21 April. The land attack variant of the BrahMos missile will provide the capability to precisely neutralise selected targets deep inland, far away from the coast, from stand-off ranges at sea, according to India's Press Information Bureau statement.
