The Washington signed a new modernization agreement to keep the intercontinental ballistic missile inventory up to date and signed a life-extension modernisation agreement for UGM-133 Trident II D5 missiles costs USD 473.8 million with Lockheed Martin. The activities to be carried out under the Life Extension 2 Strategic Systems Programs Alteration Advanced Development Program are expected to complete in 2026.
