BAE Systems introduced Athena 1920, a high-resolution thermal sensor that combines infrared image clarity with wide angle.

Described as compact, lightweight and low in power consumption, the sensor provides the situational awareness needed for the user to make critical decisions in aerial exploration and environmental safety operations.

With the Athena 1920, the thermal camera offers 60 Hz clarity and high resolution.

According to BAE Systems, the sensor offers a cost-effective solution based on its counterparts with a size of 51x40x21 mm and a weight of 70 grams.
