ASELSAN has unveiled a new unmanned turret “Nefer” at IDEF'17. Nefer is a gyro-stabilised remote controlled stabilized weapon system with a 25 mm or 30 mm cannon as its primary weapon. The turret is capable of being armed with both NATO- or Eastern-designed weapons. A 7,62 mm coaxial machine gun is mounted to the left hand-side of the primary armament. 

The unmanned turret features a laser rangefinder, automatic target tracking system and a roof-mounted sensor to obtain meteorological data, all of which are intented for improving hit probability.
