The Israeli Air Force announced that its AH-64 Apache attack helicopter fleet grounded until further order. The helicopters will not be able to serve until the investigation is completed after incident.
On August 7, an AH-64D Apache helicopter crashed at Ramon Air Base by a technical issue and two crew members lost their lives. In this case, Israel lost an AH-64D Apache helicopter for first time.
