The fourth of the Land Systems Seminars is held in Ankara. Speaking at the opening of Seminar, Head of Land Systems Vehicles Department Ahmet Raci Yalçın from Presidency of Defence Industry said, first batch of Altay Main Battle Tank serial production is called “T1” . He indicated that there well be another version which will be named “T2” He indicated that T2s will have more advanced features. Noting that the mass production talks with BMC are about to be completed, Yalçın said that the signature is expected soon.
