The Philippines wants to increase aerial COIN (Counterinsurgency) capability. In this context, Philippines requested four additional Rockwell OV-10 Bronco from the US, had previously supplied two OV-10As and two OV-10Gs. The Philippines, which plans to replace these aircraft with the Embraer EMB-314 Super Tucano from the end of 2019, has already received two Cessna 208B Grand Caravans and 12 FA-50s, all adapted for ISR missions.

Managed by a two-man crew, the platform has a maximum take-off weight of 6,500 kilograms and has a payload capacity of 630 kilograms and an operational radius of 370 kilometers.
