Poland is considering acquisition of additional used Leopard 2 tanks. Undersecretary of State at the Polish Ministry of Defence said they are contemplating on purchasing second-hand tanks and then upgrade them to the Leo 2PL standard. Poland has followed the same way with previously acquired the second-hand Leo 2A4 and Leo 4A5 tanks.
